The Outdoor Foundation just released their annual Outdoor Participation Report. This is a very quick and interesting read for Winthrop businesses. Outdoor recreation is one of our town's leading economic generators. This Outdoor Foundation study shows that more Americans participated in outdoor recreation in 2012 than in any year since the Outdoor Foundation began measuring participation in 2006. Possibly best of all, Winthrop and the Methow Valley are meccas for almost every single one of these activities! The full report can be found here.
