49er Parade Success

The 49er Parade was a great success. Many people estimated that it may have been the largest spectator crowd ever.  With that many people lining the streets it is a fantastic marketing opportunity (and great gesture of community support) to showcase your business in the parade. Think about it for next year!!! Photos of Friday's ride into town and the parade can be found here. A few special highlights of the parade were:

 Rebecca Meadows was recognized for her 28 years of involvement with the 49er Parade!  

 The Moonshiners can all the way from Spokane!  I would guess half of the parade participants are from out of the Methow!  

 Rivers Edge Resort had a fantastic presentation with this beautiful classic car 

 Three Rivers Hospital with a float that is truly "a float!"  Pun intended :)   

 Aaron and Judy Burkhart graciously pulling the Winthrop Mayor and Council as always! 

Richard Wasson, with Methow Valley Cider House and his crazy band totally entertained the crowd.
