Groundhog Day SUCCESS!

Our 2nd annual Winthrop Groundhog Day was another big success.  We grew attendance by approximately 500% and got a lot of media exposure. This event is the brain-child of local residents Susy and Fritz Zuch.  A couple of years ago they saw a groundhog in their yard on Groundhog Day and called Seattle weatherman Steve Pool who loved the idea that the Northwest had it's own Groundhog. Thus the event was born.
