3% Financial Report
- Winthrop Lodging is up 53% over last year for the months of November, December and January which all have been reported.
- November and December were the best November and December in Winthrop’s history. January was about equal to last year’s revenue.
- The additional $5940 in 3% revenue equates to and additional $198,000 in Winthrop Hotel Revenue
- At an average of $120/night this would mean Winthrop sold 1650 more hotel room nights over this three month period than last year. Total hotel room nights would be around 4760 for the three months of winter this year as compared to 3110 hotel room nights last year. (and last year was a good winter too)
- Okanogan County’s reported hotel revenue is even with last year.

- MVSTA/Winthrop Summer map updates are complete. Kristen will bring some of the old maps to the chamber meeting to distribute and use before we order the new version. 3% funds will provide this map for free to Winthrop Chamber businesses and highly encourage them to hand them out “like candy”.
- Winthrop Auto Rallye is looking for business trophy sponsors. $50 and your business gets to pick your favorite car in the show and award the trophy!
